Day 4
On day four, the party has reached six thousand feet in altitude. Daily Encounters in the Mountain from Day 1 no longer applies at this altitude. The snow now covers the ground and travelling is more difficult.
The Weeping Woman
While walking slowly in the snow-covered ground, the party hears weeping sounds. if they investigate, they will see a young woman weeping next to the nearby stream. The young woman's name is Victoria Maine (see character profile). She has just escaped from the nearby sect. Her family--husband and son--are captured by the sect. If the party wants to help her, Hagen will speak up and remind the PC's that they are on a royal mission and can't be delayed.
Few minutes later, the cult scouts (three cult members) will find their way to the stream, looking to recapture Victoria. They will attempt to slaughter anyone in Victoria's vicinity.
Necrosentinel Freedom Assembly
The Necrosentinel Freedom Assembly sect in June mountain runs an inn deep in the snow-covered terrains of the mountain. The inn is a front that preys on hunters and travelers staying for the night. The cult will add Slow-Acting Sleeping Potion to dinner and capture their victim after bedtime. The victims are, then, moved to the barn behind the inn, where sect members meet and carry out dark rituals. There are three sect members manning the inn.
