"Lone Crusader" Android App
Wed, 22 Aug 2012 17:45:05 +0000

We released the "Lone Crusader" Android app, several weeks ago, onto various Android app stores. It's a free app that lets you play our "Lone Crusader" online adventure.

This adventure was started by a fan of our "Make Your Own Adventure" stories. And we wanted to see where all of our fans--including you--will take the story.

You decide. As part of the "Make Your Own Adventures", you can traverse through the adventure on different paths. When you are done, use your creativity and write new paths for this adventure.

Be sure to download the "Lone Crusader" app to your Android phone or tablet today.

Heroes of Neverwinter
Sun, 10 May 2020 17:01:28 +0000

Still remember Dungeons & Dragons? Especially the non-advanced version where adventure is as close as your family room and the fun is in venturing into the dungeon depth rather than interpreting the rules? That simple fun in the past has came back in the form of a Facebook app called Heroes of Neverwinter.

This free to play Facebook app allows you to take on a D&D character. You can then recruit your friends to travel into fantasy caves and dungeons around Neverwinter. It's turn-based, much like traditional D&D. So playing the game feels like a walk in the park, rather than walking down a New York street. It's a great way to get back into the fun.

"Do You Wanna Date My Avatar" Music Video
Sun, 10 May 2020 16:57:14 +0000

Another music video that is based on MMORPG and "The Guild" web series. Comical in a way, but the song is actually nicely written and heart warming. Watch it below.

New Web Site for Cyno's Fantasy and PowerQuest
Tue, 02 Aug 2011 17:23:21 +0000

As I mentioned on the CynoRPG web site, I am extremely enthusiastic about creating a permanent home for Cyno's Role-Play (see TrackBack below). In fact, I was so excited about giving Cyno's Role-Play a web site, I created two web sites instead of one. This web site is the second one, dedicated to all fantasy realms and fantasy games; Cyno's Fantasy and PowerQuest are two of these games.

The web site still have a few rough edges. But that will be worked out soon. Look forward to more exciting announcements.

New Expansion on Its Way
Tue, 02 Aug 2011 17:22:17 +0000

A few days ago, I had a vision for a new Cyno's Fantasy expansion. The expansion would feature much faster game play than traditional RPG, tons of enemy creature to kill, and a random dungeon. It is a cross between hack-and-slash video game and traditional pencil-and-paper RPG. It will also be able to integrate into a typical RPG campaign. The expansion will likely be a Cyno's Role-Play scenario.

Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures at Target
Tue, 02 Aug 2011 17:20:03 +0000

Several months ago, at the local Target retail store, I walked by the check out isles and, shockingly, saw pre-painted Dungeons & Dragons miniatures. They came in packs of three miniatures. I was very tempted to get some, but I resisted the urge.

More recently, I went to Target again. And I just couldn't resist this time. With my daughter and son in the shopping cart, I stopped by the miniatures and asked them whether they wanted some. They said, "yes". So I asked them to each pick a pack. At three and two years old, they know "pretend", but they don't know anything about role-playing. But they still had fun carrying the miniatures all over the house

Already, the six miniature characters are running loose around the house. I managed to find one of the six characters--a wizard--to shoot some action photos. Attached below is the action photo of a wizard that came out of the Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook Heroes Miniatures - Series 2 - Divine Characters 3 package.

The miniatures are molded out of hard rubber plastic. So the staff and hands bend, but don't break off. It's rather nice to have resilient RPG miniatures that doesn't break. The painting is also quite detailed with eyes in the sockets and highlights and washes in the folds. I'm quite pleased with this purchase, as my kids can have fun immediately without me painting them for hours. Plus, they don't break.

Looking forward to finding the other five characters that are running around. I want to get them in action shots to share with you.
