Homecoming
Chester Quene is extremely pleased to see that his nephew and friends have delivered the Gensu seeds safely. He announces to the characters that the king wants to dispel the Permanent Silence magic as soon as possible. However, it must be done cermonial, where each of the player characters will be personally honored by the king. The dispelling ceremony is scheduled to occur tomorrow morning.
Chester and the king suspect that there are many spies, assassins, and enemies who want to obtain the Gensu seeds. Since the party has faithfully brought the Gensu seeds back, Chester and the king trust the party greatly. Therefore, the party is entrusted to guard the Gensu seeds, that will be placed on the podium in the great hall.
Super Ninjas
At about two in the morning, two super ninjas will attempt to steal the Gensu seeds by force. If the situation turns bad toward the ninjas, they will attemp to flee. And if captured, they will suicide to avoid leaking their source. See character profiles for these two super ninjas.
Creed Assassins
The Kingdom of Creed sent out five assassins to prevent the silence spell from being lifted. The five assassins will attempt to take the Gensu seeds by force at about three in the morning. If they can't succeed, they will attempt to destroy the seeds. See character profile.
The Traitor
At four in the morning, Vineboss the Regulator (see character profile) will bring four guards to the great hall. He will claim to relief the PC's from their duties so that they can get some rest. But his actual goal is to steal the Gensu seeds for himself. He is the traitor that has been working with Claypassion the Tracker the whole time. If the PC's will not play along with his relief, he and the guards will go on a full assault agains the PC's.
If Claypassion the Tracker is still alive and free to roam the kingdom, he will accompany Vineboss the Regulator to this last stand.
Hagen's Last Chance
GM: If Hagen dies during the journey, then obvious this part of the plot cannot occur.
Hagen Ash has learned that the party is guarding the Gensu seeds in the great hall. So he has snuck in and hid in the shadows before the party and the Gensu seeds arrives at the hall. Hagen plans to wait till the player characters and any potential enemies fight each other to death. Then he will swoop in and take the Gensu seeds.
