Races
Barbarian
Barbarian is a race similar to human. However, they are not quite as civilized nor as intelligent. They are very strong and will make good fighters. Their physical weight is usually around 200 pounds. They have dark skins because they spend a great dal of time outdoors. They generally lives in tribes around caves, where they hide all their treasures. Due to their relative lower intelligence, magic is one thing they shun. Instead, they believes in working hard and building up the strength of the tribe. Thus, Barbarians may not learn any magic spells nor select any magic-based professions. |

Dwarf
Dwarves are humanoids that are short and stocky, basically around four feet tall. These people are amazingly strong and healthy, Brightness, however, is not a shining attribute of theirs. They weight around 150 pounds and have earthly- colored skins. Hair color varies between brown to black. They make good sturdy fighters. On the personality side, dwarves are stubborn and conservative. They love to eat and are quite fond of good food and good drinks. They value good craftsmanship and love digging gold out of mountain caves. Dwarves automatically receive 25% on mountain lore skill. Characters could increase them further by spending percentage points on them. Also, Dwarves will receive an additional 10% bonus to Dwarf language. |

Elf
Elves are almost exactly like humans except that they are a bit taller and have pointed ears. They are slender and graceful with delicate features. Their weight is not too heavy, around 120 pounds. They are a tad weaker than humans. With their beautiful eyes, they are born with keen sights. Elves are generally more spiritually inclined than humans. As spiritual being, magic fascinates them. They are taught Elf magic from birth. The magic spells are passed on for generations. Many of the magical items in the fantasy realm are crafted by the Elves. Because magic is an important part of their lives, Elves praise intelligence. Elf cities are generally built in the woods. They like to be one with nature. Rarely do they visit human cities and human towns. Like the Dwarves, Elves like to feast. However, they are far more graceful and delicate than the dwarves. Elves are benevolent in nature. But, sometimes evil elves do rebel. These elves are usually casted out of their tribes. Quite often, the outcast evil elves band together to form the Dark Elves. Elves automatically receives 25% on forest lore, tracking, and wilderness survival skill. Characters could increase them further by spending percentage points on them. Also, Elves will receive an additional 10% bonus to Elf language. |

Gnome
Gnomes are much like Dwarves, about half as tall as a humans. But they are a little more anti-social due to their deficiency in beauty. Since they spend so much time studying alone, most Gnomes have developed a certain flair for magic. They live underground to guard their precious metals and stones. They move as easily through the earth as humans walk upon the ground. They cannot stand the light of the sun, for even one ray would turn them to stone. Some sources claim they spend the hours during daylight as toads. Their average life span is 164 years. |

Hobbit
Hobbits like peace and quiet. They dislike mingling with humans. Especially those who smell like trouble. They are small, about half the size of a average human. They dislike shoes and walk with their bare, hairy foot. The hobbit is deft and clever, which are ideal traits for thieving. Their favorite boast is "a locked door is soon no more." All hobbits have natural skills of stealing, lock picking, and pick pockets. Roll 1D100 die to determine proficiency for each skill. |
