Episode 4: Skirmish with a Wolf

You thought, "Wow! That is a smart and dexterous wolf." You figured it's best to first strike. So you pull out the silver dagger to attack. As you pulled out the dagger, you seem notice a fleeing gleam in the wolf's eyes. Then the gleam was gone. Your buddies stood by and watched the showdown.

Despite the tense of pose, the wolf did not leap right away. It waited for your first strike, dodged it, then leaped at you as you completed your swing, caused you to fall backward while it landed on top of you.

Its menancing teeth are as sharp as splkes on a mace. Its slobbering mouth is ready to bite down on your neck. What do you do?

Fling the wolf aside.
Stab the wolf in the heart with the silver dagger.
